Finally...the BANDS!

Our weekend started with the Wallflowers.  Jacob Dylan still looking good, although the band is showing some wear.

I think this is Ok Go.  They were good.

We really liked Walk the Moon. (This might be Imagine Dragons - they were a really good show).

Can't go wrong with a Cake concert.  (Saturday)
They are NOT boring.  You're all just too young to appreciate it.

On Friday we also saw Mayer Hawthorne and the County.
They were lots of fun, we just couldn't stay long because of all the weed.
We stayed for some of John Legend, but I was a little bored by that.
BassNectar...toooooo loud.

On Saturday, we started with Imagine Dragons - it was an excellent show.  No photos.
Then we heard some of Kids These Days (meh), Policia (meh), and Cults (not so bad).
We set up for GroupLove (they were just ok - I had hoped for more songs I knew).
Young the Giant was good, Cake was better, Modest Mouse was ok (not my style of tunes).
Took a break before The Killers - an excellent show.

Sunday morning er, afternoon came. We went to church and out to breakfast before going in.
Awolnation did a great job!  They crowd surfed, they encouraged moshing, and I knew
more songs than I thought I did!

I don't think we listened to Cold War Kids very long, and I napped through part of it.
We checked out the Dogfish Head Brewery before Michelle and Troy took off.

This was the closest we got to the stage for any performance besides the Wallflowers.
Death Cab for Cutie put on a good show, although pretty mellow.
The lead singer was "sick as f*ck" and still did well.
We met Margarita at this show and took her to Girltalk after.

As Brian Hufe said..."if Girltalk played in Newark every weekend, I'd lose 40 lbs."
I sweat so much dancing to Girltalk!  It was a blast.
We took off before the Black Keys, just because they weren't starting until 9:30pm.
We were attempting to be responsible adults :-)
